BPCA's College of Physical Education

ABOUT THE COLLEGE :

The BPCA has started its College of Physical Education in the year on 20th June, 1978, The college is permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai, and aided by the State Government as well as recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (N.C.T.E.) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).  The College also comes under S.2 (f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act and receives the UGC grants for various purposes.

OBJECTIVES OF THE COLLEGE :

• To prepare qualified teachers in the field of Physical Education.
• To render excellent service in Physical Education.
• To provide professional and academic teachers to the Secondary Schools / Colleges / Universities.
• To serve as a model for other Colleges of Physical Education.
• To provide vocational guidance to the people in the field.
• To serve as a Center of Excellence for research in Physical Education and other allied areas.

B.P.Ed.	2 Years.
M.P.Ed.	2 Years.
Ph. D. (Physical Education)	Minimum 2 Years duration.
